Aelicia “Chocolate” Watson is a dedicated change maker, author, and advocate transforming the lives of women in Fair Park neighborhood of South Dallas and beyond. As the Founder & CEO of Redeemed Women, Chocolate leads a ministry committed to empowering women facing generational poverty, homelessness, abuse, and other life challenges by providing mentorship, resources, and a strong community of support.

Chocolate’s passion for service comes from her own journey of resilience. Having survived teen pregnancy, sexual abuse, cancer, homelessness, and hardship, she understands firsthand the battles women face. Her mission is to show women their God-given worth, helping them heal, grow, and step into a redeemed life filled with hope, dignity, and purpose.

Under her leadership, Redeemed Women has become a pillar of transformation, offering programs that address spiritual, emotional, and practical needs through Bible studies, counseling, job readiness, transportation services, and more. Her work has been widely recognized, including receiving the “Awaken” Award from Priscilla Shirer’s Going Beyond Ministries for her unwavering commitment to serving others.

Beyond her ministry, Chocolate is an author, speaker, and mentor, inspiring women to rise above their circumstances. She finds joy in travel, social events, and a good night of karaoke, but her greatest joy comes from helping women discover their God-given strength and potential.
